So having the kids in school this week has really thrown me for a loop. I have weight trained and missed a day. Got up early and ran at 6:20. Thought the bikers that were doing the normal "hi" were for me, no they were for the size "0" fit chicks behind me. There is a reason why I run at 10:30 p.m. I do have a body image problem. Even loosing weight has not helped. I am trying to remember that it is not the pack appearance we are all shaped differently.
For the really great new today while running I saw two deer. While I was running I was listening to Happy by Never Shout Never. This was not the first time I have seen deer, just the first time not having the snot scared out of me. I really wish I had a camera to take a picture of them. The next really neat situation was a blind runner. She was being lead by a guide. I was really impressed by the dedication and team work it would take to be able to do that.
After today I am going to be a better more considerate runner and wave, or give an acknowledgment to those in passing, regardless of bike, foot or skateboard etc. I do not want to offend that person who I am sharing the path with.
